FAQs

It’s normal to have questions before starting therapy — you deserve clarity and peace of mind.

Below you’ll find answers about rates, insurance, scheduling, and what to expect when working with Foye-Fletcher Therapy.

My goal is to make the process feel simple, transparent, and supportive from the very first step.

  • Session rates vary depending on the type of service:

    • Couples Therapy: $150 per 60-minute session

    • Family Therapy: $165 per 60-minute session

    • Child & Teen Therapy: $150 per 60-minute session

During your free 15-minute consultation, we’ll discuss which option best fits your goals and budget.

  • Yes. I currently accept Aetna insurance through the Headway platform only. All insurance billing, eligibility, and claims are handled through Headway.

If you’re not using Aetna or prefer not to use insurance, private-pay options are also available.

  • I understand that life happens. To keep scheduling fair and sustainable, I require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

    • Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee.

    • No-shows (missing a session without notice) are also charged the full fee.

    • This policy applies to individual, couples, and parent coaching sessions.

This time is reserved just for you, and late cancellations make it difficult to offer the spot to another client.

If an emergency comes up, please reach out as soon as possible. I aim to be reasonable and human while also honoring the time and care set aside for sessions.

  • I work with:

    • Adults feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or emotionally worn down

    • Parents of deep-feeling or emotionally intense kids

    • Couples needing a reset around stress, communication, or boundaries

    • High-responsibility professionals and helpers

    • Clients ready to reflect, participate, and do the work

    I do not work with:

    • Crisis or emergency situations

    • Active suicidality or severe safety concerns

    • Clients seeking medication management only

    • People looking for quick fixes without engagement

If I’m not the right fit, I’ll help guide you to appropriate resources.

  • We’re a good fit if you want clear direction, honest feedback, and are ready to take action on stress, boundaries, or relationship patterns. I’m active and directive in sessions.

We’re not a fit for crisis care, quick fixes, or a passive therapy style. A brief consult confirms fit before scheduling.

  • Yes. I understand childcare can be a barrier, and you’re welcome to bring your baby or toddler when needed. That said, sessions are most effective when we can focus and talk, so this works best for infants or calm toddlers and on an occasional basis.

If you’re unsure, we can talk it through and decide what will work best for you.
